STEP 1 - Prepare the Seeds
Use viable black raspberry seeds. Follow the supplier's instructions for cold stratification, as raspberry seeds often need a period of cold, moist conditions before germination.
STEP 2 - Sow the Seeds
Fill a seed tray with a well-draining seed-starting mix. Sow the seeds shallowly, cover lightly if recommended, and keep the growing medium evenly moist.
STEP 3 - Germination & Care
Place the seed tray in a bright location with mild temperatures. Germination may be slow and uneven. Protect young seedlings from intense tropical heat and waterlogging.
STEP 4 - Transplant & Grow
Transplant healthy seedlings into larger pots or garden beds when they have established roots and several true leaves. Provide support, good airflow, regular watering, and a climate suitable for raspberry growth.
